The 13th Sopot by the Book festival will be held on 22-25 August 2024. 
In 2024, the audience will have the opportunity to discover the culture and literature of the Baltic Sea Region.

Sopot by the Book is one of the most important literary festivals in Poland. Each year the organiser, Goyki 3 Art Inkubator, selects one country and its literature as the main theme of the festival. So far, the festival has dealt with the literature of Scandinavia, Russia, Czech Republic, Israel, Spain, France, the UK, Canada, Italy, Ireland, and Germany. 2024 is the year of the Baltic Sea Region.

The festival is a non-profit event, and the admission is free.

In 2019, Sopot by the Book was awarded the Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe (EFFE) Label of Excellence, which is presented to exceptional and innovative cultural events in Europe to show their engagement in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness.
