Webinar Regenerative Tourism in the Baltic Sea Region: Turning Vision into Action – recording and materials now available!

We are pleased to share that the webinar “Regenerative Tourism in the Baltic Sea Region: Turning Vision into Action”, jointly organised by the EUSBSR Policy Area Tourism and the Interreg Baltic Sea Region RegenT project, was a great success, bringing together more than 130 participants from across Europe.
The online event gathered destinations, tourism organisations, public authorities, researchers, SMEs, and EU-funded projects to explore how regenerative tourism can move from concept to practice. The discussions highlighted that regenerative tourism goes beyond sustainability by actively restoring and strengthening ecosystems, communities, and local cultures. Collaboration, place-based approaches, and co-creation were emphasised as key elements for success.
The webinar also showcased how projects across Europe are already developing practical tools, knowledge-sharing approaches, and new tourism solutions that support the transition towards more regenerative tourism models.
We believe the insights shared during the webinar offer valuable inspiration for destinations, policymakers, and tourism professionals working towards more sustainable and regenerative tourism.
