Shaping Tomorrow Through CCI Skills: InnoCulture Conference continued in 2nd Edition 2025
Building on the successful pilot edition of 2024 in Gdańsk, Poland, the InnoCulture Conference 2025 was hosted for the second time in Tallinn, Estonia, establishing this Culture Forum within the EUSBSR further. From 19-20 November, around 90 participants followed the invitation to dive into the diversly skilled field that are the CCI under the topic ‘Exploring CCI Skills That Shape Tomorrow’ and discuss its future-orientation supported by keynotes, workshop sessions and a world café.

We, as organizers – PA Culture, ARS BALTICA, Creative Estonia, the CCI Contact Desk / Goethe Institut Tallinn and the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre – are thrilled so many individuals joined us as we gathered in the Kultuurikatel in Tallinn, Estonia for this inspiring two-day event.

A bandwidth of skills related to CCI was presented and discussed. Our keynote speakers Kati Uusi-Rauva on ‘Skills and Cross-sectoral Approaches’ and Marcin Piotrowski on ‘What role does culture play in creating social resilience?’ highlighted that innovation is about collaboration and combining skills, which sets us up for success in challenging times, making culture a vital part of resilience building. The workshop sessions exploring skills in the fields of social entrepreneurship, survival, communications as well as arts and technology complimented this notion. The world café on the second day fostered networking while discussing the challenges of the cultural sphere and beyond even deeper, further stressing how vital culture and the human connection is in the process of addressing challenges.

We were also especially proud to celebrate Creative Estonia’s 15 year anniversary within the framing of the conference.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, keynote speakers, workshop leaders and partners for continuing to bring the InnoCulture Conference to life.
We look forward to the next edition taking place in Germany in 2026, further details will be shared when the planning progresses. Let us jointly establish this EUSBSR Culture Forum format further and fill it with life!
