Welcome to a free hybrid webinar on food systems security and individual resilience that will provide guidance and recommendations for policy interventions. The intention is to appraise current level of national and individual preparedness for potential future adversities in terms of food security and identify next steps for action. The event will host presentations by field experts sharing their findings and offering recommendations relevant for the Nordics and the Baltic countries.

Audience: policy makers, municipalities, researchers, and other related professionals in the field of civil defense and resilience.

The range of potential threats in terms of food security is diverse, from climate change and extensive urbanization to conflicts, natural hazards, and political instability. Besides being associated with shock and stress, they hold a risk of disturbing our basic needs for a sustainable life and healthy nutrition.
