BackBSR Cultural Pearls reaches the REGIOSTARS Awards 2026 finals
The Public vote is open: BSR Cultural Pearls has been selected as a finalist for the REGIOSTARS Awards 2026 in Category 5, “A Europe Closer to the Citizens”.
Out of 270+ applications from across Europe, 25 projects were selected as finalists by the REGIOSTARS jury. BSR Cultural Pearls is one of them and now has the chance to compete for the REGIOSTARS People’s Choice Award, which will be decided by public vote.
What are the REGIOSTARS Awards?
Organised annually by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), the REGIOSTARS Awards celebrate outstanding EU-funded projects that demonstrate the impact of regional development and inspire other regions across Europe.
How to support us?
The public vote opens on 3 September 2026 and will run until 14 October 2026. Everyone can vote for their favourite finalist, and the project receiving the most votes will receive the People’s Choice Award. We would be grateful if you could help us spread the word within your networks, organisations and communities and vote for BSR Cultural Pearls.

The jury’s final round will take place on 13 October during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. The finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to the jury and a live audience.
The winners in each category, as well as the winner of the Public Choice Award, will then be announced at the REGIOSTARS Awards ceremony on the evening of 14 October.
