Get involved

Policy Area Ship’s goals will be achieved by transnational cooperation between the Baltic Sea Region EU countries. The aim is to transform concepts and goals from theoretical ideas to concrete actions and tested in realistic conditions and environments. The projects are the means to take ideas into reality and hence a very concrete and crucial step to realise the potential of the Strategy.

Policy Areas Ship and Safe arrange together project idea generation workshops in the different countries in collaboration with the local steering group member.

The Workshop will map out what needs/project ideas are topical and/or most urgent in each of the country, which fits with the PA Ship actions. A vote on the relevance of the ideas will be arranged among the workshop participants to ensure the validity of the concepts, and up to three project ideas will be chosen as the output of the idea generation workshop.

The ideas will then serve as platforms to local organisations / businesses / institutions to use as tools to gather together partners to start a project consortium.

Information on different funding options will also be shared in the workshop to guide the actors further.

Upcoming PA Ship and PA Safe idea generation workshops

We have completed our Project Idea Generation workshop tour around Baltic Sea countries, and are now developing the next stage, where we will facilitate the further development of the project ideas in to concrete projects. We will keep you updated once they are in the calendar!
