Arts on Prescription National Transfer Webinar

Online
10 June 2026 - 10 June 2026

An introductory webinar exploring Arts on Prescription (AoP) – a community-based mental health intervention that connects people to structured arts activities through local support systems. It is not medical care, but a supportive and preventive intervention that may help people experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges, such as stress, anxiety, low mood, or loneliness.

The webinar is intended for local government leaders and specialists, health promotion specialists, health and social care professionals, cultural organisers, representatives of cultural institutions, and everyone interested in how culture can contribute to supporting mental health and community wellbeing.

Bringing together stakeholders from health, social care, culture, and policy, the session will share experiences and lessons learned from across the Baltic Sea Region, including examples from Denmark, Germany, Latvia, and others.

Please register by June 1.

The webinar will introduce the AoP concept, results and practical guide developed through the Interreg BSR Programme-funded Arts on Prescription in the Baltic Sea Region project, while opening dialogue on its relevance in Estonia and beyond.

The webinar is organized by PA Health in collaboration with VATEK (Estonian Mental Health and Well-being Coalition).
